I'll start by saying I love this style. They fit great and are more appropriate than normal leggings. I was excited to find my favorite "upscale leggings" in winter white, but unfortunately, the winter white color is going immediately back. The color is completely see-through. You can clearly see all seams and the front tummy panel. I have started to notice an apparent trend of consumers accepting see-through white/ivory apparel, based on positive reviews for these and other items that I've likewise found to be unacceptably sheer. I don't think I'm unusually modest, but I do have high standards for what I spend my money on. This style in any other color would get a 5; the winter white gets a 2; so my overall review is a 4 (putting more weight on the non-white colors since there are more of them and they're more useful anyway). Also, size down.I've been wearing these leggings for 2 or more years. I purchased my 1st pair from a store, 2nd pair from Amazon in March 2013. I'm returning my July 2013 purchase as they've changed the fabric... it's not even close!!! Fabric is thinner & cheaper. The only thing that hasn't changed is the price!!! The fabric is unforgiving and unflattering. I wear a size 8 and have fairly thin legs... they do fit the same... which will be fine if you have NO lumps or bumpsI The other fabric worked so well on my lumps & bumps. I'm soo disappointed! My first pair is now for knock around. I love them and want the same thing I bought in March for a back up pair when they get too worn to wear for nice occasions! I'll re-puchase in the hopes of an older pair in stock somewhere. I wonder what went wrong? I hope this info helps...Hi... I Re-ordered... the fabric and fit is GREAT! Thanks so much...I am 5 foot 10 and usually wear a 12/31 in Lucky or Levis. I ordered a 10. I am 54 years old and not in the best of shape. Most of my jeans squeeze up the muffin top (haha) and then after hours of wear fall down, as my rear end is not so big. These are perfect! So good looking and in this color I would wear these as jeans or even with a dressier outfit as they do not appear denim but a dark wash blue. I am going to look for more colors. Leggings describe the fit but the fabric is more substantial. There is a discreet band at the waist (not grandmas elastic) that keep the pants up. I got these for 40 dollars here on Amazon which if any of you have shopped for NYJD pants is less than half price. Very very happy.These are great pants. Heavier than a regular legging, but lightweight and very comfortable, these are truly pants that can be worn as such, but also are lightweight and snug-fitting enough to be worn as a legging if preferred. They're constructed w/tummy reinforcement that is very comfortable as well as flattering. I am 5' 8" and weigh 130 lbs; the size 2 fit me perfectly. The best thing is that they're long enough. I often have a problem buying pants, as my legs are long and pants are often too short. I also have a pair of size 4 that fit well. It just depends upon the fit you want; snug, like a legging or with a little more room. I would definitely buy these in at least one size smaller than you regular size, as they run slightly large.All the reviews indicated to order a size down, and I did. They are well made and fit great. I have a number of Ponte Leggings from DKNY that I purchased at Bloomingdale's and love them. They are the perfect weight for Fall, Winter and early Spring. They dress up easily when traveling and look great with winter boots and casual sweaters, hoodie jackets, etc. Even though I am only 5'4" I don't want leggings that are too short and finding good quality leggings in a 31" or 32" inseam, so that you can wear them with heals, flats, boots is sometimes difficult.This is a great legging: a beautiful ivory color, the fabric is substantial and stretchy and soft; the waistband is wide and comfortable, the fit is very slimming without being binding. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it's shorter than advertised. I thought it said "33" inch inseam and I just measured it with a tape measure because it looked and felt shorter than that. It's 31 inches. Amazon's review page only allows "too small, somewhat small, fit as expected, somewhat large," but it is none of the above. The fit around the waist and hips is fine, but there was no box for "shorter than expected."I’ve purchased these a few times in the past. My FAVORITE pair of leggings. This one missed the five star mark as I think this pair is not as thick of material as they have been in the past. Otherwise a great, high rise legging that is plenty long for tall people.I get compliments on these pants every time I wear them. They have a comfortable, wide elastic waistband. No zippers or buttons. Easy to pull on and off. They stay up perfectly. The design in the material is very cool, but it does rub down quickly on the seat and wherever friction may be had (inner thighs if thighs rub, even a little). That is the only downfall. I guess this is a big downfall because their shelf-life is limited due to this. Also... they do have the worst tags of any pants (the entire brand). Very scratchy and uncomfortable. Plus the tags are numerous! Please change this NYDJ and you will find your customers will thank you for it! I still recommend them!Love these! 2nd time purchasing
